investigator03: hey. you seeing the pull from Ridge 4?
tech09: yeah, came through an hour ago. Baro dipped to 662. Then jumped back like it never happened.
investigator03: Logged 100% humidity but the ambient was barely 6°C. Dew point spiked over it by almost 2 deg. That shouldn't happen, right?
tech09: nope. Unless we moved the whole damn station to a rice paddy. Sensor logged 11mm/hr rainfall. And it was dry when the tech called it in.
investigator03: how many sites have reported this?
tech09: just the one.
investigator03: you think it’s atmospheric? or bad equipment?
tech09: I dunno. Could be some kind of inversion or compression zone. All the equipment acting up at once doesn't make any sense.
tech09: are we flagging these as anomalies or do you want me to open a case?
investigator03: open it. Label them alpha-echo until we get eyes on the raw logs.
and do me a favor — keep this off the public archives until we know what we’re looking at.
tech09: copy that.
btw random — are you on SixDegrees yet? A few people from field ops are posting on there.
investigator03: heard of it. Haven’t signed up. Feels weird connecting names to real faces online.
but maybe. what name are you under?
tech09: same as here. ping me if you join. just don’t post about Ridge 4 lol
investigator03: are we supposed to do that? create accounts with work IDs?
tech09: nope but dennis does. every time there's some new site or account he can make on the internet he always makes one with his id. makes hughes so mad.
investigator03: hasn't been fired yet so can't make him too mad.
tech09: because this place would implode without dennis.
gtg clock out. ttyl.
investigator03: don't forget to flag the data.
